Escher adds frictionless prepay capability to its loyalty solution for Insomnia Coffee


Escher Group Holdings plc, a world leading provider of outsourced, point-of-service software for use in the worldwide postal, retail and financial industries has enhanced its existing mobile loyalty solution for Insomnia Coffee, an Irish independent coffee chain with a new frictionless prepay function.

As of 15 June 2016, Insomnia Coffee customers will now be able to scan their loyalty card, fob or mobile app in-store to load their prepay account with credit to use for future purchases. With a single scan, customers can earn and redeem loyalty points, apply any relevant coupons and pay with their pre-paid account ensuring an effortless mobile payment experience for all users.

This frictionless prepay function enables an omni-channel experience for users who now have the option to top-up in the store, online or on a mobile device. For Insomnia Coffee, this streamlined payment experience increases customer spend and ensures that they remain at the forefront of developing technologies.
