ShuWish has seen a boost in business and a reduction in administration work by implementing the joint ChannelAdvisor and NetDespatch integration for its Royal Mail shipments. The online ladies shoe retailer now has a more efficient method of order fulfilment, allowing the company to focus on growing its Business.

Cheshire-based ShuWish delivers around 25,000 consignments of women’s shoes every year via its own ecommerce website, Amazon, eBay and other international marketplaces. Since taking advantage of the NetDespatch solution for ChannelAdvisor, the small family owned business is saving hours in order processing time daily, and its international sales have increased by around 15 percent. Furthermore, the company now has achieved a five-star rating for “despatch time” on eBay.

Previously ShuWish had to import order data in csv format for input into a despatch solution. With orders being processed three or four times a day, this became time consuming and the company needed to streamline the procedure.

ShuWish now has a seamless integration with Royal Mail straight out of the ChannelAdvisor platform, with NetDespatch handling all the data behind the scenes, automatically producing the correct Royal Mail 2D barcoded shipping labels and notifying the carrier that packages are ready for collection. It also updates their Online Billing Account. Designed for both domestic and international shipping, the solution enables the company’s customer service staff to view and track despatched items online.

“NetDespatch is most definitely a much quicker system,” said Martin Banak, IT Manager, ShuWish. “100 percent of our orders are placed online, and with NetDespatch it’s just one button to click and the job is done.”

He added, “I must say, I am really happy with the support we’ve had from NetDespatch. The support team has always been very helpful, addressing queries and resolving issues as soon as they crop up.”

NetDespatch works with all leading ecommerce systems to enable them to seamlessly integrate with postal and parcel carriers. The integration allows them to increase their customer offering by automating the connection between order processing, despatch and delivery, even if the orders are received in one location and despatched from another. There are no costs involved for the retailer or the ecommerce partner for installation, training or support, and the system is available instantly online.
