Escher Group and partner FPT Vietnam to deliver complete point of service solution for Vietnam Post

At the Presidential Palace in Hanoi, Escher Group today (Monday 7 November) participated in a ceremonial contract signing to recognize the recent contract to license Escher’s Riposte® Platform to Vietnam Post for 11,500 points of service, with its partner FPT Vietnam in May of this year.

The signing of this agreement between Escher Group CEO Liam Church and FPT Vietnam Chairman M.Truong Gia Binh, was witnessed by Vietnam Post Chairman M. Do Ngoc Binh in the presence of President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins and President of Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang during President Higgins’ State Visit to Vietnam. The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charles Flanagan TD, was also in attendance at the signing ceremony which was organized by the Embassy of Ireland in Hanoi and Enterprise Ireland.

Escher’s Riposte® Platform will deliver a complete point of service solution for Vietnam Post that will operate on desktops, mobile and self-service kiosks. Vietnam Post will use Escher’s Riposte solution to deliver multiple new services throughout their network, exploiting the latest trends in the global postal market.

During the visit, Escher Group and FPT Vietnam agreed to further explore potential areas of cooperation using Escher’s digital transaction management software to enhance the transformation of Vietnam Post’s point of service.
